Awareness Through Dance

What do we do?
> Provide volunteer experiences and opportunities to dancers
> Train and support Awareness Through Dance facilitators
> Collaborate with local communities to create and implement workshops focused on specific social issues

What’s our dream?
To be a sustainable international network of dancers using dance to impact society and to increase recognition of the arts as a tool for change.

From the beginning
Awareness Through Dance started in 2012 in London and since then has engaged 1000’s of dancers around the world in events, projects and volunteer experiences. Our biggest project to date was in partnership with Giving Africa and Movement For Hope in 2013. We raised over £40,000 to run an awareness project in Nairobi, climb Mt Kilimanjaro and support the building of a school for 1000 children in Burkina Faso.
